FO: Winow Pane Socks

Sometimes when I knit with a yarn that really appeals to me I experience almost a sense of loss when that project comes to an end. This was the case with the Window Pane Socks which I knitted with Ripples Crafts Assynt Winter. I fell in love with the colours and savoured every stitch knitted. Thank you Helen, you did a wonderful dyeing job.

Those socks are exquisite. I have to take the plunge with this twisted stitches business.
I felt the same feeling of loss after I finished my Wollmeise knee highs, just wanted to keep going knitting it but I ran out of yarn and leg!

That's an excellent match of pattern to yarn, which I find is often the challenge with socks!

Thanks for the compliments on the yarn, Amanda. Assynt Winter was one of my more inspired colourways! It has been so popular. But I have to say I love the pattern you used. Off to go and seek it out and add it to the "must do" list :-)
