It's done!

Despite the fact that the seaming fairies refused to pay me a visit, I managed to complete the jumper. I girded my loins the other night and just did it.

The pattern is a Bendigo Woollen Mills pattern and the yarn is Bendigo Classic 8 ply in Cherry Red.

It definitely helped knowing that so many of you disliked seaming as well. As I battled my way with the seams, I kept reminding myself that I was not alone!

My Golden Eye shawl is complete and now I just need a moment to block it.

You made a good job with the seaming. The jumper looks beautiful.

Neither am I fond of seaming, that´s why a prefer to knit my sweaters top-down like the February Lady Sweater.

Well worth the effort, it is a beautiful sweater and sure to be well loved.

I am now chomping at the bit to see the Golden Eye and get the answer to the question "How much yarn did you have left?"

I need to get moving and do some knitting! Still haven't even started! And I do n't like doing seams either! I know it stems from not liking sewing! Just give me knitting!

And the final red jumper you have done looks absolutely wonderful!

You see: this seaming wasn't so bad after all! And now you have this lovely sweater! Well done! Have you ever tried making an Alan Dart pattern, like my mediaeval king? There are so many small pieces and seaming is so much work, that it makes you long for nice straight sweater seams!

Thanks everyone! Annie I have made some Alan Dart toys but somehow I find the short seams (even though there are many!)less overwhelming.

How nice it is! I agree with you, seaming is just awful. I try to avoid it as much as possible, and almost all the time make seamless sweaters with raglan or circular yoke.

Take good care of yourself!
