I still had a ball of the Cleckheaton Bamboo left after I had knitted my socks so I thought I would put it to good use.
It turned out to be just the right amount seeing as I now only have a few centimeters of yarn left.
I really like this yarn and I like the cowl so I think I'm going to have to get some to make myself a cowl or something. The only problem is the very limited colour range. But I won't let that put me off too much.

that is a pretty lace stitch - dont they have other colours of bamboo in Spotties? do you have a Spotties near you?
Hi Val. They do have other colours at my Spotties but usually only orange and the one that I made the socks and cowl out of. I did manage to nab some blue the other day.
That's a lovely cowl, nice and snug.
If they don't have the right colour, maybe you can dye some?
The cowl is lovely! Did I tell you that my uncle & family were stationed in Zimbabwe years ago? They lived in Harrare and loved it there. They also lived in Ethiopia, but did not like it near as much!
