HOORAY! The socks are done:
Need I say more?
I've also managed to do a few more rows on Rusted Root. I've just started knitting the body. This jumper sure chews up the yarn in double quick time. Still it's rather nice to be working on something that is taking shape so quickly. And T, I agree, its good to be able to try it on as you go.

And the sweater is looking lovely!
That's one impressive pair of socks. Amazing!
Those socks look amazing. I usually get sick of them after the first one unless they have a nice pattern or are a present for someone. I think I have 2 of my socks only half finished and havent even blogged about one of them.
Amanda,
Great job on the socks. I wish that I could knit socks like you.
The socks and Rusted Root both look fabulous!
The socks are so pretty!! Is there a pattern? Do they stay up well?
This is the 1st visit to your site. Thank you for sharing so generously these tips. Great ideas! I would take this on and see how far i can go.
Look forward to more of your working tips.
For those individuals willing to do a little leg work, and think outside the box there are lots of opportunities like this still on the web. I would avoid e-books as well, but there are some good products out there.

Thanks to all for the sock comments! And Betty the boys use garters with tassels attached as part of their dancing outfit and that ensures that the socks stay up. I based the pattern on one of the 5 stitch patterns in Charlene Schurch's "More Sensational Knitted Socks".
I don't think there's much to get. The guy just didn't pronounce it right.
That is nice information. I guess I have to find some more information on the matter.
The socks are truly awesome!!!
